This was linked from Talking Points Memo--Celine Dion covering AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long".
I honestly can't bring myself to watch it. If my high school had been its own country, this song would have been its national anthem. I'd be less offended if you told me Celine had taken a dump on an American flag mid-show--I could at least understand it as an attempt to make a point. But what's the point here? Is Celine trying to tell us that she can rock? Because it is simply impossible, in this universe or any other, at any time past or future, or by any tortured definition of the word, for Celine Dion to "rock".
If anyone has the stomach for it, please report.
ETA: My curiosity finally beat out my repulsion, and I got through about the first 20 seconds. Dear God, how could it have been worse than I imagined? I must have simply underestimated how much something could suck. Now I have to go slam my head in the door of my car to help me get this image out of my brain.
In the immortal words of one Mr. Butt-Head...
"Stop... in the name of all that which does not suck!"

I have never before been so ashamed to be a Canadian. That video makes me want to google the correct method for seppuku.

The only thing worse is Minnie Ripperton doing Light My Fire.
The goggles...they do nothing.

the goggles comment made crack up. poor radioactive man.
i think a truly valid point to make here is that celine dion doing ANYTHING sucks. other than maybe slipping and falling under a train.
